• 19 Blue cards – 0 to 9
• 19 Green cards – 0 to 9
• 19 Red cards – 0 to 9
• 19 Yellow cards – 0 to 9
• 8 Draw Two Cards – 2 each in blue, green, red, yellow
• 8 Reverse Cards – 2 each in blue, green, red, yellow
• 8 Skip Cards – 2 each in blue, green, red, yellow
• 4 Wild Cards
• 4 Wild Draw Four Cards
• 4 King Pig Cards

What is UNO Angry Birds?

Angry birds UNO is basically a theme UNO version with a special action power card. Mattel does collaborations frequently and they always come up with new themed UNO cards. This game plays the same as the original UNO except for a few changes for a refresher of the rules you can check out our detailed article on uno rules.

Objective of the Game

The objective of the game is to be the first player to score 500 points. The objective of each round is to be the first person to play all the cards in your hand. To understand the scoring system you can directly jump to that section.

Angry Birds UNO Special/Action Cards

Skip card

If a player plays this card then the next player’s chance will be skipped.

Reverse Card

This card changes the direction of the turns. If turns are going clockwise then after placing the reverse card turn will go anti-clockwise.

Draw Two Card

If a player throws draw two cards that mean the next player has to pick up 2 cards from the draw pile and forfeit his/her turn.

Wild Draw Four Card

This card allows you to call out the color to be played next and also causes next player to draw four more cards. Like ‘+2’ draw rules, the next player has to skip his chance also. You can use this card on any number or color.

Wild card

When you play this card you can change the color (current running color) to any color. The wild card can be used even if the player has another playing card in his deck. This card can be used at any time and on any color, or number card.

King Pig Card

When a player plays this card then he/she will decide on a color and give one card from the draw pile to each opponent in order until someone receives the color card you selected (it’s okay if players do not receive the same number of cards). This card is also a Wild card, so you call the color in play and play resumes in the current direction.

Note: If this card is turned up at the beginning of the play, the person to the left of the dealer chooses the color that continues play.

How To Play Angry Birds UNO

• Firstly, the dealer deals 7 cards to each player and put the rest of the cards in the middle of everyone and that pile will become the draw pile. Take a top card from the draw pile and put it in the center of everyone.
• The player who sits on the left side of the dealer will play the first.
• The player can choose his card by matching the number or color from the center-placed card. If the card is matched then the game continues to the next player.
• If it’s not matched then you can draw any of the wild cards from your hand.
• If none of the cards matched (face cards or special cards) then the player has to pick a card from the draw pile. If the drawn card cannot be played then the player has to pass their chance to the next player.
• The player who finishes their cards earlier automatically wins the match but to win the game you have to check the scoring points section.

So, let’s talk about how to calculate the score and who will win the game and how. Basically, the player who gets rid of all of their cards won the game and all of their opponent’s points will be yours and the whoever reaches first 500 points will win the match.

Alternative Scoring & Winning

Another way to score points is to keep a running tally of the points each player is left with at the end of each round. When one player reaches 500 points, the player with the lowest points is the winner.

My Opinion

After buying and playing the angry birds UNO card game, I definitely enjoyed this game with my friends and the special card was very interesting. I never heard about this special rule of this “king Pig” action card and it was quite funny while playing. I would not recommend you to buy this uno version because it doesn’t make any sense to an almost same regular Uno card but if you want to try or if you have the extra money in your pocket, you can buy it and try it out with your friends and do let us know did you enjoyed it or not in the comment section and tell us which uno or card game I should cover next.

Should You Buy this Angry Birds Uno?

Nah, according to me you shouldn’t buy this uno version as this version is almost similar to the original ones, the only major changes you will find is in the theme design and 1 special card which is the “King Pig” power of this card has been discussed above. It is not wise to buy the angry birds version for only this special card and theme. If you’re a fan of angry birds just like me and collecting all types of UNO or UNO spin-offs then you can consider buying it.
